Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest film ‘2.0’ released on November 29. Directed by Shankar, the movie was made with a whopping Rs.500 crore plus budget so everybody is curious to know whether it will recover the huge investment or not. The movie has received a positive response from the audience and running successfully.
The latest update reveals that Hindi version of the film has collected Rs.122 crores nett for six days and touched the break-even mark. So, the six days distributor share would be around Rs.70 crores. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar reportedly acquired the Hindi version rights for a whopping Rs. 70 crores. . The movie is still running with good collections in North India. Trade analysts are expecting that Karan will get good profits with the film in the long run.
On the other hand, the situation of Tamil, Telugu is disappointing. As the theatrical rights were sold for sky-high prices the movie didn’t even recover even fifty percent till now. We have to wait and see whether the film recovers the maximum amount possible to reduce the losses in the long run.
