AP CM Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone to an iconic bridge in AP capital Amaravati.  The bridge will have a 170 meters tall pylon, the tallest pylon in India.  The prestigious bridge will be constructed by L&T.   The construction of the bridge will be completed in two years and the estimated cost of the bridge is Rs.1,387 crores. 
The bridge will have a six-lane road.  The bridge will be built from Pavitra Sangamam at Ibrahimpatnam to NH 10 road near Uddandayunipalem in Amaravati.  The length of the bridge is 3.2 km.   The Amravati Development Corporation Ltd(ADCL) officials are saying that the bridge will shorten the distance between Hyderabad highway to Amaravati by 40 km.   They have also said that once it is available, it will reduce the traffic burden on Vijayawada.  
The officials also revealed that the pile foundation will be laid at 40 – 50 metre depth for the strength.    The bridge will have right of way for 35 meters.  It also will have 2.5 metre wide foot path on both the sides.   They are saying that this bridge is going to become one of the landmarks for Amaravati
