Telugu film ‘Arjun Reddy’ is considered a modern classic in many ways. The off-beat film-making and the bold portrayal of the love story garnered huge appreciation for the movie from not only Telugu audience but youth across the country. Remakes of ‘Arjun Reddy’ are on the way in Hindi and Tamil already.
‘Arjun Reddy’ Tamil remake ‘Varmaa’ has become a hot topic in the past few days as the producers E4 Entertainments banner have officially scrapped the film after the first copy is ready. It is known that Vikram’s son Dhruv is debuting as a hero and director Bala helmed the project. The makers have revealed that they are shooting the film again with a fresh team starring Dhruv.
As the movie has been scrapped now, the speculations are rife on who is going to replace the director Bala. Some reports suggest that Gautham Menon has been approached for the remake. On the other hand, there is another talk that Sandeep Vanga’s associate Gireeshayya who worked for ‘Arjun Reddy’, has been approached to helm the Tamil Remake. We have to wait for a few more days to get some clarity on this issue.
