Sometimes, early streaming of new films is causing loss to distributors and buyers. If a movie has a long theatrical run, the producer is also at the loss. Considering all these aspects Telugu Producers Council has taken a decision to fix a time frame for digital streaming. They have fixed that digital players show stream the movies only after 8 weeks of theatrical release.
So, from now on, the viewers of the digital platform have to wait for 8 weeks after the film’s release to watch it on their TV. Buyers and distributors are expressing their happiness as they have a good chance of recovering their money through the theatrical collections.
