Tamil star hero Vijay’s latest film ‘Sarkar’ hit the screens a couple of days ago. Directed by AR Murugadoss the movie has opened to a decent response in the Telugu states. The movie went on to collect over Rs.4.30 crores in the two days. The collections trend is pretty decent and it has a good chance of recovering the investment in the first weekend itself.
The theatrical rights of the movie have been sold for Rs.7.50 crores in the two Telugu states. The movie has utilized the Diwali festival advantage for the first two days. Now it has the weekend advantage at the box office. Moreover, the movie doesn’t have any tough competition from the other films. As no other film is present in the theaters, Tamil dubbed film Sarkar became the first choice for the audience automatically.
On the other hand, ‘Sarkar’ went on to collect Rs. 36.8 crores share on the first day on day-1 making it the best opener for Vijay in his career. Though the film received mixed talk, it is not showing any impact on the collections in Tamil Nadu.
